"I'm not going to sit here and make any excuses… What I did was inexcusable."He also confirmed that he and Rihanna have been in contact since the assault, saying he has told her "countless times" how sorry he is. First up, we'd like to say - at least he was man enough to apologise. Shoot, Ike always maintained he did nothing wrong. So for the young boy to man up and admit his wrong, we will give him credit for that. Of course, there are still a whole lot of questions. Was that the first time he ever beat her? Usually abusers start with a shove or a slap before moving up the full on beat-down that he clearly gave her the night of February 8th. What and more importantly, who started the fight? Because despite the fact that Chris has apologised and taken responsibility, there are still tons of ugly comments out there about how she deserved it because she hit him first - something which has never, ever been even close to proven but which some crazy chicks out there have taken as GOSPEL and have run with it. Still, hopefully this will go some way to bringing this whole ugly and tragic affair to a close.
