So Berger Boyz is the first mas band out of the blocks for Barbados' Crop-Over festival this year (unless Lights has had another 'exclusive' launch like last year).
And um... their presentation is called Togetherness... and... well there's nothing much more we can give you in terms of analysis because it's pretty but it doesn't mean a damn thing as you will see in the pics of our faves below.

[caption id="attachment_2309" align="aligncenter" width="260" caption="Love. Because pink and red represent hearts... maybe?"][/caption]

They may as well call the sections blue, green and yellow and be done with it because the colours don't represent anything at all - and that is saying a lot for a 'beads and bikini' pretty mas band. I mean cuhdear, at least led red be for 'fire' and blue for 'water' - at least tek a lil shame off it, man!
In other Crop-Over news, the party scene is about to get started a week from now when the people's partying champs, Brewsters Road Crew, kicks off the first of their pre-Crop-Over limes.
That same night, the National Cultural Foundation is also reported to be launching the first of their Soca limes. Even though their official calendar is not out on their site as yet, we obtained a copy of what is supposed to be the calendar for this year.
Friday nights in Bim will be busy this year between BRC, NCF and Contact - who will prevail?
